Varsity Wrestling Update

Pre-Battle

 

 

The Varsity Wrestling (VW) team has a game record of 14-3 and a league record of 3-1. At the Battle of Lexington and Concord, LCA VW will oppose Concord Academy, who is their only league loss due to many members missing weight classes. That match was close with LCA losing by 5 points. Now our team will again oppose Concord Academy with high hopes of winning.  

 

Post-Battle

 

The Varsity Wrestling team came out victorious as they won the meet against Concord Academy. This great match totaled 70 to 18. LCA won the league after going 10 and 1 and they won the league tournament as well. At the end of the season, 10 team members wrestled in NEPSAC and there were 4 wrestlers to place– Edmond and Jason placed 8th, Kevin placed 6th, and Connor 3rd. Kevin and Connor will continue on to nationals February 28th. Hopefully they will both do well!
